This year has been tough on everyone, but even more so for those of you working in the medical field. So, with the holidays upon us, here are some easy ways to spread some cheer to your friends and family in health care.
A Sweet Treat

Unlike previous years, bringing a box of donuts or a tray of brownies into the breakroom probably isn't the best idea. However, if you sill want to share a sweet treat with your colleagues, perhaps consider individually wrapped goodies. You can get small tins, boxes, or treat bags at almost any store, making it easy for each person to grab and go.
Germ-Killing Gift

If you're like us, you're probably tired of using hand sanitzer that smells like you dipped your hands in a vat of vodka. Your colleagues would probably love a pocket-sized bottle of hand sanitizer that has a more pleasing scent, like vanilla or lavender - or perhaps even unscented.
Gift of Caffeine

Small tokens of appreciation can have a big impact, especially when those small tokens involve a dose of caffeine. A $5 gift card to a nearby coffee shop will tell your colleagues you're thinking about them.
A Present for the Pout

Wearing a mask all day can cause dry, irritated lips. A soothing lip balm can be a much-appreciated gift. When picking out a product, stay away from water- or alcohol-based products - which tend to evaporate quickly. Instead, opt for oil- or wax-based lip balms. They'll have more staying power under the mask.
However you choose to show your care, your medical friends are sure to love that you thought of them during this special time of year.
